eBreviate are a cutting edge procurement consultancy business specialising in e-auctions. eBreviate are a global business initiating from EDS’ incubator company programme.

This global business needed an entrepreneurial HR service, which would work with the formal business structure of EDS and the flexibility of a start up. Inspire HR was selected to offer a complete international HR service for the team.
This service included:
  • Expatriation of key U.S team members
  • Implementing the Pay and Reward Policy
  • Handling the recruitment of the sales team
  • Handling the recruitment of the Procurement specialist
  • Developing the Team Building events and programmes
  • Implementing the Performance Management Programme

Inspire HR worked with eBreviate for two years and concluded the assignment by integrating the business with AT Kearney, which is where the business is today.

The New Forest National Park (NFNPA) based in Hampshire asked Susan Turnbull to work with their management team as an Executive Coach to ensure that they were able to meet the needs of the Authority and its many divesre stakeholders. This process was supported by a number of tools and techniques including 360 Feedback: MBTI and team workshops.

Susan continues to work with NFNPA and supported the recent recruitment of Alison Barnes, CEO through the design and roll out of a two day Assessment Centre.




Another long-term relationship, Inspire HR were asked by Glotel Plc to establish an HR service from scratch. Glotel Plc (an IT recruitment business) was established in 1989. They employ approximately 300 staff worldwide but had not felt the need to formalise HR.

In the year 2000 following an informal conversation with Susan, the then MD, EMEA recognised that a number of the Employee Relations issues they were having could be avoided. More importantly their Employment Law costs could be reduced!

Once again Inspire HR are still working with Glotel with Diane Archer operating as “HR Manager” on an ad hoc basis. Thanks to the development work carried out by Susan and the team the business is able to operate successfully on that basis.

Interestingly Susan Turnbull was offered and accepted a two-year secondment as MD, EMEA showing both the strength of the relationship and Susan’s very business like approach to HR.



Grosvenor Estates are an unusual business in terms of their corporate structure and the nature of their business. Formed through trust owned, by Duke of Westminster and primarily a property company, the business needed support in an unusual project:

Motivation of caretakers


The team at Inspire HR loved this project as it gave them an opportunity to work within a unique environment and with a specific team of people. An attitude questionnaire was put together; time was spent on the job with the caretakers; focus groups were run; a paper/report produced which gave clear actions to be taken. As a result the motivation levels rose and more importantly LTO fell to a manageable level.



Through Susan’s connections with the media business an ex colleague asked if the Inspire HR team could help with a very specific task! Universal Pictures distribute films and videos across the world. The international unity operate in 18 countries and employ 500 people. Their HR team felt they needed better understanding of the pay and associated benefits of all employees and regular updates on any changes that were made. The HR team operated out of London supporting all 18 countries.

So Inspire HR established a bespoke International Payroll report; which capture in US Dollars all pay and associated benefits by employee; by country; by role. The report established common headings,identified differences ( month by month), established pay bands and job grades and most importantly gave a consistant reporting tool on singular the largest achieved salaries.

Despite the introduction of People Soft, Inspire HR continue to produce this report for the Senior V.P International six years on from it’s introduction.
